Besides the already mentioned martyrs Danat (Kalashnikov), Hilarion (Tsurikov) and Iaon (Laba), other Athos monks lived in the Pokrovsky monastery; there were more than 20 people. Almost all Athos monks, sent to the Intercession Monastery, lived on the Holy Mountain for 20-30 years or more. Most of them were people who were illiterate, who had a "home education." The false teaching influenced them a lot, but many of them repented. We do not know the destinies of all of them. We want to believe that the Most Holy Theotokos, who received them under her fair homophobia, strengthened her monks on the way of the cross, which, was in the post-revolutionary Russia. The Pokrovskiy monastery, which became a house for several years for them, was sanctified by the grace of prayers of the Athonite ascetics. We hope that among them there were those whom the Lord has numbered in the image of His chosen flock and those who pray to Christ for us.
